For the past two weeks whenever I attempt to shut down Windows via the usual method (Start -> Turn off Computer) it takes anywhere from up to 10 minutes before the Shutdown/Restart/Log off icons appear. However if I go into the task manager and select Turn Off from the Shutdown menu, it works immediately.
This issue only presents itself on my main user profile; the other logins remain unaffected.
