I'm a newbie too at editing Thief DS levels. Actually, editing levels comes at the top of my list as to why I bought Thief DS. I went through the whole game three times and now I'd like to edit my own levels. I started doing Komag's tutorial but there are a all kinds of weird, fuzzy colored lines that won't go away on my top, front and side views. The more meshes there are, the more fuzzy lines I get. Usually, when a view is quite far from what's in it (mouse wheel), I don't get that problem, but as soon as I come a little closer those lines that keep moving as I move through the view come back. I did a screen shot to help you understand better, but can I post it? Is the Editor considered as copyright material? Any idea what I should do to remove those lines? I think this might be related with why I don't see the outlines of the non-living meshes I put in my level, except for the rooms (I only see red crosses, but it's okay with the 3D view and when I test the level). I noticed that any view seems to be attempting to make an additionnal view (in 3D) with those lines on top of itself.
Please take note that I don't have the Internet at home (for now) so I may not respond to your message right away.

P.S.
If someone could tell me how to delete a post that I started, this would be much appreciated.

That's weird.
As to screenshots: Obviously the editor is copyrighted - all created works are, until the copyright expires after 75 years or so and it goes into the public domain. But you definitely are are allowed to post screenshots of it. It would just be silly if you weren't. :)
So yes, please post a screenshot.
To delete a post, click its Edit button (in the top-right hand corner of the post) and then click the Delete button that appears.

Here's a screenshot of the editor in a Word file, because the computer at school can't do a lot of things. I would have put in an image file otherwise. Sorry.

Am I the only one who ever had that kind of problem with weird lines? Do you guys think it's possible this happens because my hardware is not good enough (I had no problem running the game, though).

It looks like it might be a classic video driver problem - are they updated? I used to run it with a Radeon 9000 Pro, and that was fine.

This might be the problem. I'm trying to update my driver but here is the message I get:
INF Error
Video driver not found.
And then, when I click on "OK":
Setup was unable to complete the installation.
Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA
driver before running setup.
How do I do that?

Unless the .NET framework is properly installed, it probably doesn't like it. What sort of message do you get when the install fails?

Most laptops have custom drivers. Have you checked at Toshiba's web site?

I'm going to search on Toshiba website, nomad of the pacific.
Thank you guys, I'm getting a bit desperate to figure out what's wrong but hopefully you're there. :)
Edit: I received a message from Toshiba that told me to look on Tohiba Website. That's what I did. The latest update seems to date from 2004 (there must be something more up to date) so I sent a message to Toshiba asking to help me, but I don't think the support from them will be very good. Maybe one of you could take a look guys? Because I spent something like one hours searching and finding nothing else. I suck at computer science, striving to learn by myself (and with your help :)).
