This is an odd one, for sure.
The bug occurs every time I engage in combat - the first time I strike an opponent, or get hit by an opponent, I find myself enveloped by the "swirl" of magic, as if I had, at that particular moment in time, re-equipped all the items I was wearing.
Furthermore, every time it happens, my Enchant skill increases a couple of percent. WTF?
Anyone know why on earth I am re-equipping my items every time I engage in combat, and why my Enchant skill is boosted at the same time?
(I'm unpatched, BTW, cos I read that the patch makes levelling far too easy, so maybe this has something to do with it?)

It's not an enchanted weapon, is it? It could cast a spell 'on strike.'

Two things I would do:
1. Patch the game.
2. Re-install.

Oh really? So then, what item in the game causes your Enchant skill to become boosted every time you attack or are attacked by another creature? And not only that, but causes all your armour and weapons to become re-equipped at the same time?
Jeez, give me some credit... I ain't a newbie :tsktsk:
Anyway, it's irrelevant now, cos I just rolled back to a savegame before this bizarre thing occurred. Four days of game time wasted, but the constant re-equipping of my items EVERY SINGLE TIME I FOUGHT SOMETHING was really getting on my nerves.

Now, see, this would have had no effect, cos it was the save which had become corrupted, not the game itself. And I ain't patching cos I don't like the changes made in the patch :P
