That reminds me of another question of mine: Which settings are already made in the custom matlib? The filenames of the textures just indicate some general order, but is there any reference to the footstep sound, climbability or other things that are supposed to be in the matlib (afaik)? Or - since you can change them with right-click and so on in the texture browser, but I don't know if this overwrites/resaves the matlib - is this optional for each one of us?

Yes, they are set up for the right sound fx, climbability etc. That's why they are sperated into groups ie stone, metal etc. I didn't know you could change that via the editor ... but it's there anyway.
