I finally got around to putting this together. You can grab it (
http://www.str8g8.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/) here.
It contains all the custom content (textures, smeshes, matlib) I created when making The Bridge, plus some stuff that didn't get used - the good, the bad and the ugly :) .
I've also included some source files for anyone interested; there are max files, and also the .unr files (note that the map files won't export and play correctly without the gamesys, scripts and so on - they are just provided to show how the archetecture and smeshes were put together).
Hopefully this will be of use to somebody.
cheers

These will definately be useful! Thanks, str8g8 :thumb:
Holy cow! That's a lot of custom content! About 146 static meshes, 167 textures, a matlib. The textures are gorgeous, str8g8.

Yes!!!... I'm loving what you've put together (The Bridge) its just one of the many unique styles that come out of all these FM's we get to enjoy. Everyone has their own style so to speak and yours is definetly one that I admire.
Thanks for lending this work to the community as well... seriously, this is some good stuff....

I'm speechless! :wot: I love those smeshes! They're better than the OM content, IMO. I hope someday I can build to those standards. :)

Hmmm, well, that's weird, but the current version doesn't contain the necessary matlib :erg:
Thanks to Beleg for drawing my attention to this - these smeshes will currently appear untextured.
I'll sort this out and do an update. :)

OK fixed (I hope :erm: )
Just to clarify, at the above (
http://www.str8g8.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/index.htm) link, you can download:
a) (
http://www.str8g8.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/downloads/Str8g8_T3Ed_ResourcePack.rar) the resource pack which is a zip containing a matlib, .tim files and textures for all the custom smeshes that I made for the Bridge (my FM). Also included are the original max files and the unreal files for the levels themselves. Once installed in the correct dirs (see the readme in the download) you will be able to use the smeshes just like the ones supplied with the editor.
b)(
http://www.str8g8.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/downloads/custom_textures.rar) the custom texture pack, which is a new matlib together with a bunch of dummy textures - the idea is you can create your own textures, and
overwrite the dummy textures. ie you take your texures (mytexture_D.dds and my texture_N.dds) and rename to stone01_D.dds and stone02_N.dds and copy them to the custom_textures folder thereby overwriting them. This is basically a way of being able to get custom materials into the game without having 3dsmax. The dummy textures are 256x256 only to save bandwidth and download faster - you can make them any size you want (powers of 2 obviously).
Any questions, just ask :)

But.. nooo!! :-O Why my T3Editor says that they are all 64x64??? :-(((
str8g8 on 6/11/2007 at 10:01
Sorry you're right the dummy files are 64x64 - but the point is you can replace them with 1024x1024, or 512x512 or 256x256 or 128x128, ok?
