So apparently they can deliver trailers with solid voice acting and decent writing. I still had a few Dishonored moments, and they're still trying a bit too hard in places, but there's lots to like here.

The cathedral is shown to have a hammer on the broken stain-glass window.
Hammerites confirmed as post-mortem characters?

Hammer reference on the cathedral... good.
Garrett represented by the 'dark knight' on the chess board (coughs Batman)... bad.

Yeah, I noticed that too, although if it weren't for the other Batman-like influences in the game, I think I would have found it clever. Besides, what other piece would you use?

also something small but interesting I noticed.. on the pre-order part at the end the only edition shown was the PC one. No console one was shown

A rook (retains the dark motif if one thinks of the bird).
On further thought, rooks are related to magpies which have a reputation for stealing shiny stuff!
On further further thought, rooks typically are a late game piece in chess, when the balance of play is less... balanced.

Why would Garrett scream as he jumps? Is he Will Smith or something?

Ooh, this actually looks quite promising!

Huh? Screaming? What are you talking about?
TriangleTooth on 18/12/2013 at 17:14
At about 1:25 Garrett sorta goes "Nyargh! Huah!" as he leaps and grabs the next ledge.
It's almost as silly as classic Quake's "HURGH"
