I've already (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=64885) mentioned this problem on CommChat - the test emails I refer to in the last post also got returned. I thought ttlg's recent problems may have something to do with this, so I waited, then posted yet another photo to the photo album. While it hasn't been returned yet, I did get the same message as before about delivery being delayed.
This is the text of the email I had:
Quote:
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software (Exim)
running on a mail server handling mail for fmailm2.svr.pol.co.uk.
A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its
recipients after more than 8 hours on the queue on fmailm2.svr.pol.co.uk.
The message identifier is: 18s1rW-000842-00
The subject of the message is: TTLG PHOTO ALBUM
The date of the message is: Sun, 9 Mar 2003 14:34:26 -0000
The address to which the message has not yet been delivered is:
photoalbum@ttlg.com
Delay reason: host lookup did not complete
No action is required on your part. Delivery attempts will continue for
some time, and this warning may be repeated at intervals if the message
remains undelivered. Eventually the mail delivery software will give up,
and when that happens, the message will be returned to you.
Any ideas? My email account works fine otherwise.

Just tried connecting on port 25 to ttlg.com
no reply so either they have no mailserver there or the firewall they have is screening mail off from the outside world

Our mailserver appears to be working normally, all the spam merchants emails get through ;)
On occasion we have had problems with certain domains, namely Yahoo accounts, but it appears you are not using a Yahoo account.
The failure of a lookup could suggest that the DNS server your outgoing mailserver is connected to has not picked up TTLG's "new" IP address.
Seeing as I handle the photoabum you could sendyour photo to david@concretedonkey.net
:)

Thanks, David, I'll send it now.
And thank you, Ceebs, too.
Will this problem rectify itself eventually?
