Plain and simple, what setup do you have/ use for your computer?

I use Stereo Headphones for my Laptop

Sony MDR-V700 headphones with surround mapping (Kx drivers!), so would that technically count as stereo or surround?

I only have one set of powered monitors, so my setup is a bit convoluted - my turntable, CD player, and computer all go into a single switchable preamp, but since the speakers aren't sitting near the computer, I run a set of headphones to my desk when need sound from the PC.
And for the Xbox I use 5.1.

Stereo Sennheiser HD 515 headphones. And some lame Logitech stereo speakers that I only use to plug the headphones in and control the volume.

I have a Philips stereo minisystem as my PC speakers, but I mostly use it to amplify my Audiotechnica ATH-A500 headphones. I pretty much play PC game exclusively with my cans on, my X-fi sound card has superb surround virtualisation.
But if I had the money I would buy a decent 5.1 satellite speaker kit, like the Logitech Z5500.
I play my SD consoles on the family TV w/ a 5.1 setup though.

I have a Yamaha 5.1 system I got a few years back(for watching DVD's as there is a mild director obsession with using the center channel for all dialog), but I'm still missing my sound blaster(I forget what they were called before the inspire series) 4.1 system. It had crisp directional sound.
Nowadays I use headphones all the time due to my living arrangement. Some people just don't know how to appreciate dance music after midnight.

These are what I use with the Xbox. They're fantastic for the price.

I've still got an old Creative T7700 7.1 system, which is sadly horrible with EAX because the centre channel tends to almost mute any sound coming from right in front of you - perfect for first-person games I'm sure you'll agree.

Are headphones stereo with EAX and shit?
