Yes, your speed does effect levitate speed, so even a single point of levitate works very nicely with the BoBs. I became Archmage in the Mage's Guild, so I get relatively cheap enchantments; and among other trinkets I made is a constant effect water breathing and levitate ring I called the "Freedom Ring". :cheeky: Anyway, with it you can go anywhere and not be concerned about drowning or falling out of the sky when the enchantment wears off. Despite only having a few points of levitate on top of the water breathing, the BoBs allow me to fly around at a good clip. There is another interesting effect of levitating that ties in with the water breathing: when you levitate through water you move as fast through the water as as you do through the air. You would naturally expect the water to provide greater resistance, but it doesn't; and combined with the water breathing it's like the water isn't even there... except for the dreughs and toothy fishes floating around in it. ;)
