The discovery queue is depressing. It's seriously ridiculous how many game designs sound like someone throwing darts at a chart with game elements on it.
I smell and interesting thread coming :p

Picked up:
* Evoland 2 - I didn't even know this game existed, but I really enjoyed the first game. So as soon as I saw this game come up, I was like fuck yeah.
* The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky

Valve knows that you subconsciously lust for 2D waifus.

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is up for a measly €7.49, which is a steal. Easily my favourite of the GTA-style games. Great hand to hand combat.

Aaaaand the Winter Sale has now ended! What did you all get?
My backlog was already getting annoyingly big (even if my whole Steam library is ridiculously small compared to some other people) even before this, but I couldn't resist the temptation to make it even bigger...
* Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons: It was really cheap at 80% off and it looks pretty good and potentially fun.
* Door Kickers: If the controls are simple and intuitive and the AI works, this could be interesting. I just hope that this game isn't all about trial and error.
* Satellite Reign: I loved Syndicate back in the day, so I hope that SR really is as good as people say.
* Rocksmith 2014 DLC: The DLC songs were 40% off (I haven't seen them on sale before) so I bought a few tunes that I like.
I also nearly bought Dark Souls 2 (should I just get Scholar of the First Sin? I thought that it's some expansion that requires the main game, but I'm a bit confused... and lazy) and Wolfenstein: The New Order, but then decided against it in the end. By the time I've finished some of the other "must-play" games in my Steam library, it'll be Winter Sale 2019 or something anyway.

NOTHING

Nothing as well. Not due to willpower, though, but because I already had the games I would have wanted.

Only get Scholar of the First Sin. It's standalone and acts as a gold edition: the base game updated for (somewhat) better PC compatibility, slightly better graphics, some extra bits, and all of the DLCs.

Picked up Ethan Carter, Long Dark, and the Alien and Arma III DLC. Nothing particularly exciting on this sale.

Bought some Lego games on the cheap, but nothing else. Decided to pass on MGS5 until I've worked on the backlog a bit.
