I have to laugh every time there's a sale, and there's DayZ in big old bold letters, with it's whopping 15% off. Are they really so arrogant to think that people are falling all over themselves to get 5 bucks off some perennially buggy, overpriced, eternally alpha state game? It's kind of pathetic. I loved the mod for a while, but I regret ever buying the standalone version. How long is this freaking thing going to be in Early Access?

I haven't checked in on DayZ standalone in ages, but it still seems to be a bit of a train wreck, and most of its audience has moved on. Wow, it's been 2 years, and the original mod was almost 4 years ago.
The meagre price cut is fairly normal for early access (besides all of the others that won't discount). It technically is on sale anyway, and the price rises until full release. It gets a tiny discount for the attention and to look like it's joining in, I guess.

I pretty much just skip everything that's in early access. I'd rather wait for things to be finished and fully playable.

Oh, look. Far Cry 4 just went on sale at random, and at a lower price than it was during the fall sale that was barely a month ago. Good job, Ubi.

The discovery queue has been kind of useful for helping to remind me of a number of games that I had forgotten about (still only bought one this way though). But mostly I'm clicking through a seemingly endless queue of zombie games. No matter how many I tag as not interested, there seems to be a nearly limitless supply of zombie filler to take their place.

I keep getting suggestions for anime interactive fiction.

Valve knows that you subconsciously lust for 2D waifus.

The discovery queue is depressing. It's seriously ridiculous how many game designs sound like someone throwing darts at a chart with game elements on it.

Anime interactive fiction, Minecraft-style block games, things in Early Access, 8-bit pixel art roguelikes, and 20-year anniversary remakes of games I remember playing when they were newish and that make me feel old.
