I definitely agree with Alias. I prefer sneaking around and killing people quietly and perfectly. I'm the type who saves before sniping and if I don't get it in one shot, I do it over. Unlike Thief, there is no pickpocketing so you can't pick up useful items from walking Guards. So I prefer killing them or knocking them out, so I can get the goodies.

I find that I perfer sneaking into position, and i'm quite partial to hacking...
But i most certainly love to go blowing the s&*$ out of stuff, and do so on a fairly regular basis.
:. I feel i'm Killer, with a dash [read-recognition of the uses] of stealth.

LoL, I can't believe someone just said "seven ought sixty-two". That would be 7.062. The reason they say "thirty-ought-six" is because there's a 0 after the point: it's 30.06.
"Ought" comes from "nought", a British word for "circle". Hence meaning the zero.
Most people pronounce 7.62 as "seven-six-two", or "seven-point-six-two" if you want to be precise.

I love that "EEYYEEHHHH!" sound that some people make when hit with the spray.

Or it could be nought!!!

It's nought. Naught is an old word for 'nothing' (e.g. 'naught but death awaits thee').

Ya know, I once tried to be one of those stealthy, kill nobody people...
I got to the off-shore research lab, and there was this diver, see? He was an annoying, world-class S.O.B, refusing to be K.O'ed. I tried everything; he shrugged off tranquilizers for some reason, wouldn't let me use the baton or prod on him, and he kept on shooting me with his own tranquilizers repeatedly until I couldn't see.
I reload, time after time, to get this guy, and everytime, he kills me with this bloody crossbow. My annoyance turns to frustration, my frustration to anger, anger to all out rancor. My rancor, to insanity.
My insanity turns to the psychotic...
I turn the diver to chunks of meat with a LAM and go on a rampage. I kill EVERYONE (and I do mean everyone; I even went back to gib the bodies of those I already knocked out) in the entire level. The first guy I see gets a regular dart in the back of the head, and I take his assault rifle and procede to ventilate every last person on the level, with much usage of grenades and LAMs...
I am not a happy person, as you can see. I now play as a stealthy killer, which is a fine balance to me... but I kill all hostiles I meet, because, in my opinion, (or maybe not in my opinion; I could, after all, still be going through that psychotic episode) it's only fair that if I kill one guy, I kill the other. No knocking out this guy "because it's merciful"; who the hell am I to decide that? I'm a nano-augmented agent. I should either bring death and destruction to my enemies, or bring an end to suffering in the world, not both, because that's playing God, who for the record, must hate my guts for having made it so far in the game without killing anyone, only to gib this bloody diver and then become a mass-murderer within the space of a few quickloads.
*insert ranting, raving, psychotic manifesto here*
Glad to get THAT off my chest.:)

Funny, something like that happened to me too just this week. Was playing DX in my usual non-lethal style (as much as possible), but then in Area51 I just got impatient and wasted practically everyone. Just wanted to get to end ASAP. I think the game is actually a bit too long to be played totally sneaky stylee. Some mayhem raising is always refresing:)
How come your trangs didn't work with the divers? They sure as hell should go out with one trang. Got the right ammo loaded?:ebil:
