Hello all,

I have long felt that the stealth aspects of System Shock 2 were very underplayed, and so I have decided to set out to create a new mod to address this issue.

Some of you may know me from the Thief Editor's Guild, where I have worked a lot with the Thief version of DromEd, so a move to ShockEd would not be difficult for me. I have already begun some experimention and, in a handful of idle hours over the last few weeks, I have already made significant progress, including the implementation of a fully working visibility gem, among other things.

Thats got to be the best April Fools joke I`ve seen in ages.

Until the shotgun bit I was sure it was just Thief. Trick movie editing I presume. If this were any other day I`d have believed the movie. VERY well done in either case.

Having done SS2 level making myself, I know that you just cant do the vast majority of that stuff in the SS2 engine (light gem, AI`s reacting like that etc).

Nice one!

I think it was hilarious when the guard yells and comes to attack, and I'm thinking 'Oh he's gonna get it now!' and then you pull out a shotgun and blow him away and I'm just sitting here thinking 'HOLY SH1T!' :D
