I just made a thief. And its awsome. Its so much fun jacking people shit. And opening there chests. Are there any hints on how to open chests better or not be noticed. Cause even if i can sneak, I cant get away with opening the chest without getting caught.:sweat: so i just save before opening the chest. if it sucks i just load it again and dont even bother getting fined.:tsktsk:

The trick is to hold the sneak button down until the sneak icon appears. When that is being shown, you are basically hidden from view. If there is anyone around, get them to say their auto greeting, and make them turn their back to where you want to steal something from. Of course, the higher the sneak skill, the easier it is to steal things.

I am only level 1 ., i havent done anything to level yet. i just started my thief. can you steal of people without them noticing:confused:

Picking pockets with a skill level of 30 (or 15 if minor) is almost impossible. Taking things from chests etc is easier, but because your skill level sucks, it's pretty hard still.

Successful sneaking is much easier if you jump up on something like a table or chair etc anything to get you of the normal 'line of sight'.
Don't for god sake try pick pocketing out at level 1 as you'll fail miserably - pick pocketing effectively is for advanced thieves - and remember what you 'see' in the inventory of the person you are pick pocketing is based on your current skills - they may have more stuff which you haven't the skill to see although there is an element of randomness about what appears.
My last tip is for you to consider your foot wear - yes it does affect your sneaking ability - the more your foot wear weighs the more likely you'll fail the sneak so don't wear anything more than light armour boots and for an important sneak you might consider going bare foot...

Antman226 are you writing with an accent or something because a side from the blatant lack of capital letters, decent spelling, you sound (read) well...dumb. I'm sure I've read some of your posts where you don't sound so 'unusual' don't let your standards drop mate or you'll have annoying prats posting about how they "can't understand a word your saying" like...well...me. ;)
In regards to your remarks about not wearing boots i'd simply refer you to the manual that states "They [khajit] make excellent thieves, due to their natural agility and unmatched acrobatics skill". Both beast races make great stealth types because they don't (can't) wear boots that's why i have an Argonian 'ninja' class character.
I prefer the 'mini-dragon' look over the 'giant-house cat' look any day lol ;) :D
