I remember the moment when I was keeping the documents in my hands with all the hell breaking loose around me, with that damn Mi24 flying over the buildings and the entire platoon screaming around me. I remember I felt completely fu***d. I stood still, trying to figure out how to get out of there, knowing that the way downstairs was heavily guarded.
Then I saw a ladder out of the window. I run upstairs, to the roof where I found a nice way out, behind the buildings. I got out under fire of only one sniper. I was running like hell, dogding his rounds. It was amazing and I felt godly :)
The map design in agropom must be some of the best.

Wasn't the helicopter bothering you? It gave me a bit of trouble while running towards the hole in the walls around the base.

Nope. Actually, those propellers are a let down in the game. They've never bothered me, and everytime I hit them with my obokan, I only heard some drammatic radio chatter, something about "Fly lower, lower!". To bad I've never had a bazooka in that moment.
Since the 1998 when I first faced an Apache in Half Life, I dreamt about a fight against a Hind helicopter. Here I have it finally, but it doens't live up to its true nature.

Having the opportunity to shoot down a helicopter with a RPG would be badass. Adding that to the already amazing fight against the soldiers in the stormy night would blow my mind away.

Well, it is possibile. You need two things: a chopper flying over your head and an armed rocket launcher. Till now I had both of them but never at the same time :laff:
I managed to shoot down a helicopter at npp with my Tunder machine gun, though. With a bazooka, as seen in trailers, would be truly badass indeed.

I'm now in the underground lab. I'm supposed to find a code to open a door there but there is no marker on the map or even in the list of active tasks.
And I met the first mutant there. . .let me guess, is the shotgun by any chance effective?
Fallen+Keeper on 19/4/2007 at 17:36
Mmmph... it depends... I can remember that at Stalker level it should suffice, if you're lucky. At Master, you should be very lucky.

Those guys lead at you right? If I shoot them when they walk around a corner it might do a good job, giving the floor some red paint job.

For agrogrom I snuck in and out no problem, no kills, and no patches.
Maybe you're just a terrible sneak, you ever think about that?:p
