I personally still think of myself as English, yet I'm not entirely clear what that means anymore. We're so heavily influenced by English speaking American culture I start to wonder what's culturally English now.
I might be losing touch with it because I don't fit in with other real people and being English doesn't come with any sense of belonging. Right now I find Japanese culture more interesting.

In under 24 hours I'll be a married man. Time goes past so quickly.

Why do you want a Singaporean passport? And what's so bad about being British? I mean, besides the obvious.
Becauses it's currently the best passport to have insofar as allowing hassle-free travel to more countries than any other passport. And I was born there so thought I might get dual nationality.
I grew up in other countries which are far more memorable to me than the times I spent in England so, like scumble, I don't really feel I belong here more than any other place. If I had the choice I'd rather belong to a country that doesn't/hasn't acted in despicable ways and has nice weather.
