Some of the smeshes in my map refuse to stay reskinned. I can reskin them as normal, but whenever I playtest or load the map again, they have gone back to their default skin. The particular smeshes I've had problems with are 'CHRcolumn1D1' , 'GENsknDOORFRMarc4x10full' and 'INNceilinghallway1A1'. Every instance of them in the map do this. Different smehes are still working normally in the same map.
Has anyone else seen this happening, or know how to fix it?

Did you remember to add the skin and give it a name? (should warn you about it when you try to save if you haven't).
And did you use the duplicate function - I use that a lot, and if you've just added a new skin it sometime doesn't work right, so you have to right-click-select-skin again to force it to remember to use the new one.

I meant giving it one of the skins that is already available - for example, the CHRcolumn1D1 is supposed to have the skin 'CEMwall512B', but when I load the map it goes back to default. Same thing happens with the other two I mentioned.

In which case I can't help much, I've never noticed them going wonky before.
Just for reference though did you rebuild the flesh bit inbetween? Maybe the unreal thinks it's the new skin, but the flesh thinks it's the old, like when texturing walls.
I don't think that should matter, but I'm obsessive about recompiling before I test anything apart from stirctly non-renderable changes (like triggerscripts).
