I'm a programmer, and I say you that it's not so easy making that checking; it should mean checking if the file is a regular zip file (1), and checkin the content for .tim or .mlb files(2). I believe there is some php script for it, but make it working would be a very boring job :/

He's taking care of it right now. The thing is, this site was never planned to be made PEBKAC-safe, that's why it is rather simple.
But your SMeshes are quite high-poly ones. I think 960 for a pebble is quite a bit.

Sorry man, but my works are optimized for powerful architectures :laff:
If your architecture doesn't support it enough, just update it.

It's not about the rig, dude, it's about the engine. It's wise not to exceed 2000 polys per single mesh, so 960 for a small stone is plainly a stupid waste.
That's why the Builder gave us the invention of normalmaps, to seek balance between model detail and texture detail.

well, there goes six months worth of work.... (though at least my ridiculous polycounts are for whole buildings, not for /pebbles/)

Well, when I will have the time, I will rise my skill with those normal maps, it seems interesting your sample, Judith...
But at this moment, I have a lot of troubles in my private lifem and I'm trying to solve them. Please understand my good intentions to share with everyone the stuffs I use with my FM to keep alive the game.

There's nothing wrong with that; even at building things I'm still learning. :erg:
We've fixed your downloads and that strange fake one.

If it doesn't crash in the game on your machine (and as far as I know you have a low-end system) it's fine. I remember building an old ruined tower for CCC2 the other day (similar to those entrances to the dungeons in Oblivion) And it had about 3k polys - either it crashed my system or didn't appear at all. Dividing it into SMs helped :)

I've downloaded the first and: massimiliano goi_middle beam in wood (14 uu).tim
This isn't the name of the smesh.
Anyway, I'll solve this trouble with Child Of Karras.
