Hehe, well...since you bring it up, personally I'd go for (
http://www.brandenburg1260.de/schildheinrich.jpg) this (
http://www.hma-info.de/images/belege/marburg2.gif) look since this is the shape that is used in heraldry (later together with the pot helmet and its (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crest_(heraldry)) crest. Problem is, the first time I could... well, strictly speaking I could even include it in my current FM, but the real "knights and castle" FM is only in my head for now. :erg: Still, since the decoration on the shield is three-dimensional, it could even have a normal map. :D
PS: I spoke with the Child of Karras about bringing the database back up to date and he'll try after he set up the computer with Win7.

Great news! :thumb:
And what about your PC,
Cúthalion? Did your PC problems end? Is your Hermes alive? And if the answer is YES, so are you looking for some particular mesh? I'm learning to make models right now, so I'm looking for practice and ideas, so I have time to create models for someone else.

Please!!!

Yeah, unless the CoK has crashed the whole machine, everything is still there and I'll try to work on the polish of the Hermes maps soon. I just need to set everything up newly with ModernLoader etc. etc..
Hehe, now there are even two people offering me modelling help, thanks a lot. I think for now I could only need "decorative" stuff that could breathe some life into the City's streets. Str8g8 had already made a lot of that for The Bridge (like the wooden planks or bottles etc.) and that is the major design obstacle for my map right now. So, just if you run across ideas what could be done for T3Ed to bring detail into scenery (parts of buildings, bays, new windows etc.), I'll gladly use it. Texture compatibility with the good old wall and goodness textures would be great of course; but aside from that I have no idea what could still be needed.
My next FM will probably take place in an underground fortress/casemates scenery, so maybe I'll steal the Baron's canons. :ebil: By the way, I hope the database is ready and running again when you officially release the rest of the Cabal models.

First of all, you're the only one, who knows what exactly should be in your mission and how exactly this thing should look like. It is not very amusing to make things for a trash pile. It's always better to focus on the customer's taste. For example, some time ago I was creating winter clothes for Pagans, because Judith said that he would like to have such character in his winter map. I even pictured my friend's sheepskin coat for it. The skins reached 50% readiness. But then I found out that Judith abandoned T3Ed and it's uncertain whether he will back to editing TDS, so I simply lost any stimulus to finish this stuff.
Secondly, I'm sorry, but I need some description with a picture. Even a short one will do. For example, you may say, that you need a compass in original TDS goodness texture, looking like this:

So, Cúthalion, if you'll decide what stuff you need, just let me know.

Well, as for me, I have already done it. All the other stuff, that I used, is public data already. All Ziemanskye's stuff is inside the pack with the mission. As for Judith, as far as I remember, virus killed everything that Judith made for his mission. So the only author, who you should talk to, is Nomad Of The Pacific.

I'll create a package of my stuff. It may take a while, though, since there were bad meshes mixed in the lot that will crash a level. I need to sort them all out.

Very nice, Tiens! Thanks.
For anyone interested, I've put many of my textures, matlibs and meshes (
ftp://ftp.pacific-nomad.com/KttH/) here.

This includes the good, the bad and the ugly. :p Some of it may not be worth using, but feel free to use anything you wish. I apologize for just dumping everything together, but there were just too many to make previews of everything.

Hello,
Sorry I know this is really not the place to ask this but I'm running out of options lol.
I have a problem getting my custom wall mesh to work properly in Oblivion. I have it textured correctly I believe and I can get it in TES CS. How ever once I turn the lighting info on the entire mesh turns black. Ill leave a link to my problem, hope you might be able to shed some light on my issue :P.. Again very sorry for posting this here but I'm so close hahaha
Thank you very much in advance.
