BG, check your PM. It's virtually impossible to get hold of these days.

I might have some good news on that front. A couple days ago, I was looking for some disc or another, and by luck, happened across an old trial CD of 3DS Max 5 and Character Studio I ordered way back in the day. This is an official full copy of Max, straight from Discreet before they were taken over by Autodesk. The only downside is a 30 day activation limit attached to it, which, you know...;) ;) nudge nudge.
Considering this is a free trial, I might be able to upload it to anyone who wants a copy without any legal issues. Depends on what the mods and powers that be say.

Yup. I'm sure he went through hell trying to find it, too. And here I was, sitting on a freebie I totally forgot about since 2003 or so.
Damn. Now I feel bad. :(

It's nothing in comparison to the next level of hell he's about to go through, while learning to use it! :cheeky: (cheers, Dante). We're talking about the most evil and unstable incarnation of DirectX, the infamous 8.1 version :]

Stop it, please. I'm trying to forget that I have to become as good as Ziemanskye within...say...two weeks to stay within the schedule. :eww:

What Mass said. Try to cram too much too fast, and you'll just end up pissing yourself off and getting discouraged.
I'm speaking from experience here. HEED MY WORDS!
