HELLO MY LOVELIES :D
So here is how a tale of how today started out:
12:15am. I am passed the fuck OUT because I have had less sleep than usual lately. Phone rings. It's one of my rowers. Wtf why is she calling me.
"Hey coach, it's heart attack time"
"what?" (Oh god someone is hurt or dead)
"It's heart attack time, come outside"
"what" (what?)
Now when you've had about 14 hours of sleep over the last three nights and have just been sleeping for two, you're probably going to be a bit bewildered at such a circumstance. But I think I hear giggling. I go outside. A couple of camera flashes go off and then a van full of still giggling rowers takes off.
The crazy girls cut out about 60 paper hearts and decorated them with pictures and quotes and goofiness in general (such as "8 reasons why Amanda is better than Mike (the varsity women's coach, who is about 6 foot 5), including items for consideration such as "has more versitile hair" and "can fit into more hiding places") and decorated my car and the driveway with them.
And they brought me nachos. They're fucking hilarious. :D
And then now there is this awesome threads with you awesome people and it's an awesome day! Much love to my homies, you guys are great!
