ive now decided to start again, as I came across a goblin lord blocking a locked door with "rsetricted access" on it in level 3. I thought I had done the gem dealer bit with authorisation, but the fact I can't remember what I have and haven't done (i started my game nearly 2 years ago) means that I have started again to appreciate the story.(plus I was stuck)
At least i'll be able to understand what needs doing, and perhaps this will help me enjoy the game more.
In addition i will also have a good idea of how to solve quests, and which attribrutes to spend my skill points on.
This time I am going for a charicter who has spent all there points on strengh and dexerity, with melee, defence, object knowledge and a little casting being my main strenghs.
I'm sure you'll all wish me look on my new adventure.

I started again the other day and went for a Mage character which I'd never done before. By damn Mages are powerful! I took out a Yllside when I was level 3!
Best 'o luck to ya, by the way. It's a good game...

Cheers driver, if off to a flying start level 2 alredy, and i've only up to the bit where i've secured the gem dealer licensce. I think if I went back to my old saved game I would be able to resume now, but i've decided I might as well stick with the new game.
This time I don't want to miss anything, i've even found a secret door containing a key which I didn't find at all last time.
At this rate I should be almost up to where i was in a couple of days. The game makes far more sense, and is a lot easier to understand when you play it continously, not the first part and then resume 19 months later playing it.
Just hope I don't get stuck again..........................
