Er. The whole film really, minus a lot of the special effects and dialogue.
(

Goes without saying - LOADS of fucking spoilers.
Anakin chops off both of Dooku's hands! Nasty! This could actually work!!
If it displeaseth those in power, I will see it done.

I will be so pissed if this is really it. Damnit, what happened to Lucas's amazing anti-piracy methods that worked so well before?
Good god, what is it with Lucas and his hand chopping fetish? Given how many friggin hands get chopped off, you would think someone would've invented a lightsaber-proof wristband.
Holy crap.
I hate to say it, but this looks like a fun movie. Tons of action. Kill the dialogue, and I'll be a happy man.

This looks fucking cool. Truly melancholy and dark, as all great films are.
Scots Taffer on 25/2/2005 at 01:01
If they can even pull off some of that old style Dark Side taunting like they had in Empire and Jedi, they can even have some dialogue in amongst all that action. Thankfully, it looks so jam-packed full of cool things happening that Lucas will (hopefully) have little time to fuck things up and Portman will only be used for the following variety of faces: concerned/shocked/in pain (that covers force choke and labour, I guess ;))
Damn. I hate a lot of things about the prequels but DAMN, now I'm all excited.

I tried to resist looking at those pages all day yesterday, and eventually broke down.
Nothing about it changes my (

Empire
New Hope
[big drop off]
Clones
Jedi
[further drop off]
Phantom Menace.
I can't see myself liking it more than Empire or less than Jedi, but that's a wide chasm in between. It's got serious potential to kick ass in a way not seen since Empire, but I'm not discounting George tripping over his feet a few times, which is the only thing that can hold it back. General Grievous could be too over the top, and any scenes with Nute Gunray run the risk of descending into Jar-Jardom. And as dark as the screenies look, it could still all get watered down in the mix.

Jedi was my favorite, I think. Empire had a really good score from John Williams, and of course, New Hope was his starting point. I'd go with 3-1-2; Empire is good, but the news is tragic enough.
Anyway,

Thought the same thing with the fourth one. My god damn ass was chapped 1/3 into the film. By the halfpoint, I had my arms folded across my chest in disgust.
Thought the same thing with the fifth one. It was better than the fourth, in the same way that Star Trek 4 was better than Star Trek 5. It's saying something,
relatively. Ten percent is more than one percent.
Honestly?
I don't really care about this movie. The lightsabers are pretty, but Knights of the Old Republic and Jedi Knight 3 have lightsabers. I think Rogue Squadron still plays on a Geforce 6800. I could probably get Shadows of the Empire to run well, if I pulled some tricks with FRAPS to limit the framerate to 30fps.
I hope Lucas retires, after this, back to his ranch and plays with his grandchildren. 50 years from now, maybe someone will go back and make some good prequels...
