It'd be like Top Guns in space.
And that would be good... how?
Just in the sense that instead of the catastrophic concept of actors trying to play the main characters in the TV show, they could use the same universe, but show the military/political struggles of the New Republic. Like Jag, but with good writing the TEH FORCE.

I liked Corran Horn, and I also enjoy Kyle Katarn. And Grand Admiral Thrawn. I haven't read a new fiction book in years though. These I red back in middle/high school.

He's a Mon Calamari.
Exactly.
I think I'm bored of the Star Wars galaxy.

Lando Calrissian,
I'm sorry to have to be the one to break (

Man faces jail time for selling crack
A City of Poughkeepsie man faces a stint in jail for dealing crack in the city last year.
Landocalrissan Butler, 25, of Winnikee Avenue, entered a guilty plea Tuesday in Dutchess County Court to attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony. Butler told Judge Thomas J. Dolan he had five small bags of crack in his pocket Dec. 22 when police arrested him on Morgan Avenue. He said he intended to sell the drugs.
In exchange for his plea, Butler was promised a sentence of six months in jail and five years on probation. He will also be required to forfeit a cell phone and $432 police said he obtained through illegal drug sales.
Butler remains jailed pending his sentencing, scheduled for April 4.

I KNEW it!
If you guys have dropped off reading any expanded SW, I would highly recommend the New Jedi Order series (infamous for killing off Chewbacca in the first book). It's about a 12 book deal but that is some seriously grim shit and most of it is the heroes *not* saving the galaxy or winning anything, but pretty much getting their collective asses kicked back to the Republic era. Lots of death and dismemberment, and even some Jaina on Jag Fel action... :thumb:
