the Klingons now have almost more repeat visits than Doctor Who’s Daleks
Not even close. In the old days, you could not watch a Doctor Who episode without seeing a Dalek or two.
And I agree on the new Klingon's (as I've stated elsewhere). They completely fucked them up. Using subtitles for long conversations was dumb as well.

Probably because the second episode was only on CBS's streaming service.
It didn't catch the second half of the first (two-part) episode, is what I meant. Space Channel had some lame Star Trek commentary hype show that ran late and confused the PVR. I still haven't seen the entire episode, but apparently you can get it in Canada on some streaming service, so I guess I'll subscribe to that eventually (maybe when the whole season's out).

You're luckier than us. Here in the US, only the first half aired on broadcast TV. You had to subscribe to CBS All Access to watch the second half. Other than Discovery, there's nothing else I'm interested in on CBS All Access that I can't get free OTA, so spending $60/year just to watch Discovery is a hard sell.

It's on CraveTV. I think you can get it through Bell if you're with them in any capacity, but direct from crave I think they have the 30 days free like netflix does.
Thats' now I'm watching it anyway. Rather than spend $200 a month on cable I'm using a VPN for Netflix, Hulu and HBO for like 30 bucks a month total. Just added crave to the list to see Star Trek and the whole package is still cheaper than basic cable.

I'm a fan of Narcos so I'm used to it now :laff:

I'm Klingon'ed out. The Klingons were the least imaginative, most overly stereotyped, shallowest, and least interesting of all the major races portrayed in the franchise.
Do you want Andorians? Because that's how you get Andorians.

I come in looking forward to some concise, scathing Zylonbane commentary, and all I got was some crap about Andorians.
Life is so disappointing sometimes.

Come on, that was some pretty good shit! I'm giving him 10/10 for dragging out Andorians.
