The Vintar is a lovely gun, it sends some luvin' right through your enemies.
Also, I'm tempted to replace my GP37 with a silenced AR, whcih has more damage but less accuracy and no scope, but then, I've got the Vintar for that ;)
Then, all my weapons will be silent

I wasn't attracted to silenced weapons so far. I have to make as much noise killing people as possible in this game. URAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
I fell in love with Tunder (Groza), compact, relatively reliable and implemented grenade launcher as a bonus.

I considered the Tunder, but opted for the GP37 due to the scope.
That being said though, as I now have a sniper rifle for distant work, I may consider a re-evaluation of my up-close destructive capabilities.
Also - does anyone know if you can ever use the scopes and under-barrel grenade launchers you find? I once tried reassemblaing one I'd just taken off of a weapon in my inv and could not figure out how.

Right click on a weapon with scope/silencer/nade launcher and you'll get an option to remove it. Right click on any scope/silencer/nade launcher in your inventory and you'll get an option to attach it to your pistol/rifle, provided you have a pistol/rifle which will take said attachment.

faetal, if you like silenced weapons try to get hold of the modified IL 86 (some stalker in the Warehouse area has one). It's lighter, and has a silencer. When I got it, I held on to it for a very long time. Especially because ammo for it is plentiful.

To connect a silencer/scope/grenade launcher, you can also just click on drag it onto a weapon (so long as it is one of your equipeed weapons).

Might look out for it, but as I recall, the IL86 isn't the best for damage / accuracy, so I may just try to get the silenced AR (like the monolith guys drop near border) and use the Vintar for scope work.
