I dont like this game!
Care to explain why? Repeating the same nonconstructive comment you made earlier seems awfully pointless.

I have the strong feeling he is just an idiot.
review says Pripyat is not interesting enough ? I was constantly creaming my pants. Maybe they should not do every mission in the morning, those cowards ;)

IMO Pripyat in the original was more atmospheric/interesting. If you don't just sprint through it from entry point to exit, but explore. It's clearly underdeveloped in CoP compared to other two maps, obviously devs hadn't enough time.

in SOC there was nothing to do in Pripyat. only the stash and the stadium. well, personal favor I assume. and I agree that the devs seems to have rushed it a little compared to the 2 other areas but I was still extremely pleased and satisfied.

Not sprinting through Pripyat is a good way to get your head filled with gauss rifle slugs. Cleaning the place out enough to explore seems like it would take forever.

There's only about four or five snipers. Once you know where they are they're not so bad. That first one by the garage exit is the worst, and you can get at him more easily from back before you go underground. After that the cover is usually ok for dealing with the others. If you go straight up the middle you don't really have to deal with most of them at all.

Doesn't it seem a little odd that the release date was 2/2, and there were banner ads on major game sites on that day, and several reviews are being published this week, yet..
No one seems to have the game in stock. Even ordering through Amazon, the game won't even ship out til next week, which essentially means they don't have any copies yet. Isn't it kind of a marketing gaff to basically be saying "Come get this cool new game!" and then "sorry, just kidding, you can't have it yet."
I don't often (actually, almost never) buy stuff on release day, but this doesn't seem like a very good way to do it. My guess would be they didn't want the game's official release to get caught in the shadow of Bioshock 2 next week.

Didn't have a problem finding the game. I was pleasantly surprised to find that standard $40 US release is the Collector's Edition though.

That's cool, just out of curiosity, where'd ya find it?
Good news about the collector's edition, the image on Amazon's site reflects that, but I wasn't sure if it was accurate.
