On the other hand, if all guns are identical you're free to choose the gun you really like and stick with it and still be able to finish the game.
What's to like in a certain gun when they all identical, just look and name? Nah, I much prefer SoC's weapon system, where guns of a given class really differed.

The default movement in STALKER(i.e. simply pressing the "forward" key) is actually running. The fast movement everyone consider running is sprinting.
You CAN walk, there's a key for that, I think by default it's Shift. But it will take you ages to get anywhere.

foward is running? that Marked one looks me walking in the street.

Comparing with Wolfenstein 3d? ;)
He really runs when you press W, people don't walk with such speed, and W+X is sprint.

So far so Good, i´m loving this one, maybe because i´m getting used to the rules and gameplay of this game, now i am more selective to what i should carry on my bag to avoid getting tired easly, and know how to prevent myself more times from being affected from the various kind of radiations, though its odd how i haven´t found out yet any item to wear on the belt, after exploring so much zones. One question why has one of the factions the name of the game "Clear Sky" ?
"I said come in, don´t stand there"..."Get out of here Stalker"..."hello, hello?"

Because they're basically researchers who want to make the sky clearer I guess, figuratively speaking ;) The game's named after the faction, not contrarily.

You need artifacts to put on the belt and to find artifacts you need to use the detector around anomalies, they're much harder to find than in SoC but there is a jellyfish (useful in CS) at the very start in the area where the tower is before the very first emission (excluding the one in the first cutscene).

- Unrealistic weapon ballistics, meaning you need to carry 20kg of ammo since it takes ten bullets to kill anything.
Ever heard of head shots?
I don't understand why so many people complain about the "accuracy" of the guns when in real life guns are
not as accurate as in video games. Honestly, I enjoyed the inaccuracy of the guns and how it forced me to compensate by getting close and not unloading my gun. I had to use burst shots or one shot at a time to keep my aim steady from a distance.
Oh and Steo, what mods are you using? I've beaten vanilla stalker twice (second time on a harder difficulty), but the way you're playing sounds interesting. I have to say Stalker is one of my favorite games. It's flawed, yes, but the atmosphere is practically second to none.
