Hi Guys!
I am new to this forum, and
it is surprising to me that there are actually
so much fans still out there playing SSII, which is
pretty cool.
I am a SSII fan since it came out and i always wanted to
design Levels for SSII but couldnt really figure out the Editor.
Anyways...
Later i was messing around with the UnrealEd
and came up with a SSII Mod Idea for UT2004...but after
diving into Unrealscript i figured out i would never be able
do what i thought, so i stopped everything.
But it was fun to work on it.
But at least i wanted to share 2 pics from my SSII-wanna-be-Mod.

Welcome to the forums, theabyss!
Just so you know, it's not a very good idea to type in lines like that. It's harder to read and very likely to draw flames from other members.
Your pics look pretty cool. Too bad that it didn't work out. You weren't planning on remaking SS2 in the UnrealED engine, though, were you?

Sorry for that.
Yeah, youre right, i felt more comfortable
with the UEd, but it really needed a lot of coding
for the new Gameplay,Interface,Interactions etc.
and for me as a Coding Newbie that was just too much.
I am more a creative guy when it comes to drawing,textures,
modelling and Level Design but not really Coding.
Just wanted to share some with you guys.

Just thought I'd ask, because any attempts to re-make SS2 in a newer engine have been shut down by EA, so you probably wouldn't get very far without getting shut down.

Oh, now i am getting it.With lines he means THIS line and i thought he means the Threadtitle i picked.Sorry, english is not my motherlanguage.
