I would really like to have a look at the maps, but all the links are death. Could you reupload, please?
I actually don't have them, but I'll poke Raph about it.

Wait, the planet in TSP was to be named "D'Jure"? Seriously? As in "soup d'jure"?
Leave me alone I was like 14. :(

Crap, I forgot to check and update the links when I closed LG Classics...
The Media and Levels links should be fixed now. Let me know if there's anything else, and thanks for pointing it out! :thumb:
edit: And ZB, you've been here for as long as we have, a bit late to poke fun at names, dontcha think? :p

There's about 50 names on the credits page for T2X. Given that there's only about a dozen SS FMs vs. the 7-8-900 for Thief (I lost count awhile ago), I doubt there would be enough people on the editing side willing to participate in something like SS2X (even though there would be plenty of interest on the "playing" side).

Well the simple truth is also that it's awfully difficult to build an expansion pack for SS2. It's already much more complex than Thief just to set up a working mission, let alone a complete campaign. It should also be noted that the FM scene on the Shock side was always very small compared to DromEd.
It's sad that TSP was not completed (tell me about it :()but at least we have the levels and everything else for gamers to use.

We actually, goddamn ages ago, got a bunch of interested parties who could use ShockEd together, and tried to do a "Community" thing. but I don't remember it being more than 14 rooms strung together that had very little in common. It was still cool though, and interesting to see people working together who hadn't before. I don't know what ever happened to that project/map though.

That's not hosted on a site somewhere still? Still have that on my pc + on cd from ages back. Good side to being a hoarder in real life. You tend to hang onto levels etc. I'd just need to do some hunting to find it.
What happened to the project/map was that people started taking too long on getting their rooms done, if I remember right. And it fell apart from there. Still ended up being a medium sized map.
And a SS2X wouldn't be successful nowadays as most of the good map makers stopped frequenting the forums a long time ago. Not sure how many still do.

There are some files missing in the Resources section.
Today I had time to look at the maps. There were a lot of things I liked. I guess my favourite levels are medical, startmed1/2 and storage 1/2. Allthough there are no enemies in medical I consider it to be scary. All this beeping machines, corpses everywhere and the only other sound comes from my footsteps. It was a experience of isolation and loneliness.
And this one ghostscene hit me totally unprepared^^And I noticed that there was enough booze and chips on each level :)

Thanks! :D
We had some pretty great things planned, as I recall. It's too bad we never got even close to finishing it. :(

Shame work never got to the stage where it was demo worthy (ie the first level 100% done and preview that etc).
Though I'm sure, and know from my own SS2 FM work of just how time consuming making a level can take. And then to make a good one, even longer.
