Hey,
I have an old copy of SS2 from my dad from 5 years ago, and I recently dug it out and tried to install it on a Windows 7 64-Bit Laptop... when I try to install, I get the prompt saying "Make changes to hard drive blah blah" etc. and I click yes.
Then... nothing happens. I've tried forceing the setup.exe in CMD, to no avail. Tried compatibility, running as admin, nothing. I can't use VM's, i only have a Home edition.
Eventually, after trying 20 times, and giving up for an hour (at this point the SS2 disc has been removed), i get prompts from the installer basically saying, "Where's the disc?".
What. Is. Happening?

If the installer absolutely refuses to run correctly no matter what, the game can be installed manually with little trouble.

Enjoy the game! Make sure you also get the videos running, there are only a few but it would be a shame to miss them.
