[SS2] Want to translate... - by zwierzu

Hello everyone!
I've played SS2 many, many times. Really love this game (nothing special :)
But playing only english version is boring... I want to translate it to my language (polish)...
And I have question - is there any editor I can use to translate text messages (eMails, Notes etc)???
Please answer my question, I want to try my translating abilities :)
P.s. Sorry for my bad english but im writing this post in hurry :)

I always want to translate games - and i want SS2 as my first translation :)

I don't want to destroy your hopes or anything but i think SS2 is too big of a project for a first timer. I was a little bit intro translating console games (actually roms and isos) but not by myself and i can tell you, if you want to translate a game by yourself, i wouldn't pick SS2, even if you love it. Start with something smaller and try to complete the translation 100%
But of course you can try your luck on SS2, after all i don't know you, maybe you have what it takes :)

If there's already a translation done, then it's a little better ... then you already have a reference you can try to improve on to your own taste. But I agree I think it's a bigger project than you might expect. I've been working on just translating some FMs, and that seems like a lot of work. But sometimes people just take on big projects ... if you have the patience and endurance, nothing to stop you. Good luck.

I was interested in translating it to Icelandic just for fun, but it's way too big to be worth it, I'm probably the only Icelandic SS2 player. :o
