So, I'm going for a laser rapier-only run of SS2 on Impossible... And I decided to record it! So far I've only got the first episode recorded and uploaded, but I've got about half the footage for the second episode recorded and ready to be edited.
So, if you're the kind of person that likes watching other people play games (who ISN'T?), then (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtfAVhuSwJU) give it a looksie!
(PS, I suggest clicking the little button below the video that says, "Watch in high quality", otherwise it's kind of hard to even tell what's going on sometimes.)

Well it's not a speed run, that's for sure.

Not intended to be. Sorry if it's a little too slow for your tastes. Speedruns are cool and all, but I'm just not THAT good at the game. 'Sides, sometimes I like to watch someone play at a normal pace. I think it's interesting to see how someone would tackle an obstacle differently from you.
Thanks for watching and commenting, though!

I like that.
Now I need to start recording a secmod commentary video.

Do you play at gamma lower than 50%? Or is it the video? It seems to me that the game is darker than usual.

Actually, my in-game gamma settings are at about %60 or so. For some reason, Fraps records my videos at a very low gamma... Adjusting my gamma in-game doesn't make any difference. I think it's basing it off of the settings I have in Windows itself, so I can try playing around with that to see if it gets any better results, though I already am brightening up the picture during editing...
Anyway, second video is done and I'm in the process of making the finishing touches to it. Should be up later today!

It looks to me like it's running on an NVidia card. All the posterization on the walls gives it away.

I... Didn't know that existed. Wow, thanks!

For the love of the Builder, have you never heard of the "play last unread log" key?
The default is 'U' IIRC.
Hmm, since I have a computer fast enough to properly record SS2 these days, I should consider recording a Psi Sword or Gandhi run...
