Or he thought he could win against the robot if he charges it from the end of the corridor with the wrench in his hands  .
That can be done, but it's tough on Impossible. Pretty much a matter of luck.
But if the video is just for comedy reasons, then no harm done right? ;)

Only if it's actually funny.

Aah, all in good fun. There's a ghoulish pleasure in watching someone resort to cheating...

There is a scene where he get pissed because the yellow robot keeps killing him on Med/Sci and after six deaths he Alt-Tabs the game, search the internet for cheats then go back and gets his revenge.
So it's even worse than I thought. I can enjoy watching a playthrough of a game made by someone who actually knows how to play. Not a playthrough by some cheating loser, though.
And I always wrench any Maintenance Bots in the game. Except in the earlier stages, when playing on impossible.

Wow, you'll get into the history books man. :joke:
These videos are not a lame "skill" show-off, just a guy playing system shock 2 and trying to make the viewers laugh with his commentaries.
(I liked it, downloaded all thirteen parts :thumb: )
And it was a very refreshing idea to quit the game while the video is still on and get cheats from the net, I never expected that.
Here is the part that we are talking about by the way:

Since English isn't your native language, I should let you know that the word you're looking for is "retarded", not "refreshing".

What is your problem with him cheating?
Keanu Reeves should dodge the bullets in Matrix for real too!
That would really add to the entertainment value of the movie.
But that damn looser uses fancy special effects, now its doesn't worth watching at all, those unskilled bastards ruined it. :nono:

Well, my problem is that generally I tend to think cheater = loser. I like to see other people playing games that I like to admire their skills, and maybe even learn something from them. That's why I enjoy watching speedruns, for instance. So if this guy cheats, what's the point of watching him play? To hear his dumbass/smartass comments? To grind my teeth when noticing how badly he plays, or how little he seems to know about the game?
As for your argument in this last post, the intended analogy doesn't even make sense.
