You are a retard. Every time you post, you make the world a dumber place. Stop.

If you turned off everything that's unrealistic in SS2, you wouldn't have anything left.
Better without, for me. Others can decide on what suits them. ;)

In SS1 you have 256 different difficulty combinations - allowing you to choose a little how much challenge each game aspect presents. If you were to force everyone to play with the time limit or with cyberspace at maximum then a lot of people would find the game frustrating. It would have been nice if SS2 offered the same flexibility when it originally came out.
The degradation was something that took me back a bit at first - it was just unexpected compared to other games at the time. It does contribute quite a bit to the atmosphere and I would definitely not remove it.

Considering that you can easily end the game with several dozen repair tools in your inventory, you can't even make the argument that the degradation is unbalanced.
Not without getting laughed at, anyway.

By nerds, to boot.

I can't even take you seriously. You're like an exaggerated forum troll who isn't really a forum troll, but is no better regardless.
Whatever helps you sleep at night, old man.

Your delirious incoherence isn't exactly disproving me, y'know.

Passive-aggressiveness will only get you so far, my friend.

I'll never forget the first time i played this game. I have never tried anything like it ever since, even not in modern games. Nothing can be compared to SS2.
After some years, i finally got my friend to play it, but as the idiot i am, i made him play his first run in co-op with me. And good damn i regret it. I ofc pretended that i didn't know what was going on and what was going to happen and he enjoyed it very well. Even he thinks its one of the best games he has ever played. But i know that he could have enjoyed it even more if he had just played it for him self for the first run.
I think i diserve a kick in my nuts.
