At this moment, near the beginning of the first Rickenbacker stage, you press a button, and out comes a sudden ambush of a seemingly random variation of Rumblers and Security Bots.
This has never happened for me once. I've played through the game on all difficulties except Impossible and not once have the enemies spawned nor run out. However, if I go a little further into the stage, I always instead see one Rumbler in front of where the player is at in the tight space during 6:58 in the video. I don't ever encounter any security bots nearby.
Also what happens when you don't kill all the black eggs? Because I recall on my most recent playthrough a couple months back, I forgot to get the egg hanging from the ceiling near the beginning of the stage that the player kills at 8:01. The door still opened at the end that led the next stage where everything's upside down and there are three cyborg assassins and an assault rifle. When I realized this, I went back and killed the egg but nothing really happened. Or does not killing the eggs only prevent you from going to the third stage with Diego's body??
I have SS2Tool, BMM, and various graphical mods including Rebirth, Tacticool, SHTUP, and Vurt's mods but none that I'm aware of that directly affect gameplay.
Any insight?

that's pretty much what is supposed to happen there (one rumbler runs out, others patrol inside so they'll join the party if close enough).
also pretty sure Shodan will not let you continue at some point if you don't kill all the eggs.

Yes, this always happens. What surprises me is that you've actually managed to play the game even once without meeting the Rumblers and bots (if I have the psi ability for it, I usually have some fun setting up a Rumbler vs. bot fight). So your level looks different indeed.
If you don't kill all the eggs, you shouldn't be allowed to continue to the stage where everything is upside down - the elevator door won't open, and you receive a message from SHODAN. A few years ago, every once in a while I used to have some nasty, annoying bug where the first egg I destroyed wasn't accounted for, which meant that I couldn't go further, as SHODAN would always tell me that I hadn't destroyed all the eggs yet. That seems to have stopped happening completely after the first Le Corbeau's updates.

Yeah I've played three times on singleplayer and once on multiplayer but I've never seen it even once. So the Rumblers/Robots are not guaranteed to spawn? Do all triggered spawns work this way or do some have a 100% chance of occurring?
If I remember correctly that the two cyborg midwives at (
https://youtu.be/PAIfs4DNJ2k?t=16m49s) always spawned(and always scare me) but the midwife at 25:40 of the same video didn't always spawn for me. Guess I'm just unlucky with the spawns haha. Also who typically wins the fight between the rumbler and robot?
And after seeing the feedback on the egg bug, I'm starting to doubt my own memory. I probably just have bad memory.
Also I have serious trouble hitting the long, thin laser turrets you see on the rickenbacker. I can't seem to shoot them and I can't hit them with the wrench when security is deactivated. It's a pretty big inconvenience during certain parts of the Rickenbacker and especially at the beginning of Pod 2. I've tried various angles and it just doesn't seem to get hit. The only way I can seem to kill it is by using my Grenade Launcher.
Thanks for the responses.

No, they should 100% always spawn. Your memory is swiss-cheesed.

You can skip to 1:00 if you want to immediately see what I'm talking about. Everything before that is just me demonstrating exactly what I do on most playthroughs. That's what I see in every playthrough. Maybe it's a mod but I'm pretty sure I only downloaded graphical ones.
And sorry about the darkness, I don't know what went wrong during rendering but at this point I'm a little lazy to try again.

yep, that is definitely not what is supposed to happen. post your ss2bmm.log (or its contents). patched up with the latest tool, right?

It gets a bit cluttered if I post it here so I'll post it on pastebin.
Also I don't know if there's been an update recently but I got the latest one back in around March. Thanks for the help.

unable to replicate, so unless you can replicate yourself and supply more details and/or saves, there is little I can do.
//a very, very blind shot in the Dark would be that maybe NVscript did not get loaded. would have to see shock2.log from the session that failed.

I tried with all my mods deactivated in BMM and got the same exact results.
This is odd because I think this is the only interaction in the game that fails to load for me. I'm pretty sure all other spawns work as intended.
I'll try uninstalling SS2Tool and see if it changes anything.

EDIT: I may have below average intelligence as I am struggling to find a way to uninstall SS2Tool.
EDIT2: Wow I updated SS2Tool from v6.0.8.0 to v6.1.1.0 and they spawn now! Thanks for the help. I'm tried looking through ss2tool.log to see if there were any files it changed that might have been the cause of this bug but I don't understand anything in there! Haha.
