hello again all. as lovers of ss2 im sure we have all tried to outfit our desktops, media players and pets (or am i the only one?) as a tribute to a game we all love. i was curious to hear of wallpaper/theme combos that anyones thought up of that offer the best ss2 look outside of playing the game.
i currently have this (
http://www.sshock2.com/ss2mmdb/themes/ss2_wall7.jpg) wallpaper on my desktop. now im a big fan of winamp as a media player (for music anyway..), but im not too thrilled with the winamp skin on sshock2.com, so ive got this winamp skin as a complement to my desktop wallpaper. (

on top of that ive got my windows "appearence" under Display properties in control panel under Windows Classic and Rainy Day. i sometimes alternate between that and the appearence that the Alien Commemoration Desktop Theme offers - which you can download at (

your thoughts people? hopefully i dont sound like a nut and people will respond in kind :D

The original 'algae' style that I used as base was more greenish overall, in any case you can fully customize the colours of the theme. It is not apparent on the screenshot since I took it years ago, but there is also a nifty transparency option available, I activated it recently and it's really nice, the menu is slightly translucent and lets you see the wallpaper or window behind without being intrusive at all. The combination of Blackbox and the b0seclass windows theme is the best GUI I've ever had, and I don't plan to change it any time soon. :)
