In a determined part of this deck, Polito sends an e-mail, telling that she's trapped in Cargo Bay A? Where's she? In enginnering? Please answer...

Apparently you're not even paying much attention to your game. It's not Polito who sends you a message. It wouldn't even make sense if she did it, seeing as you had to go to Deck 4 to meet her, and see the cutscene and all, so you should already know what happened to her.

I'm more surprised when people don't make this mistake about the cargo bays on their first play-through. It's a confusing message for several reasons.
Firstly, it has the Engineering decal on it. I know the decal on the logs indicates the person's workplace, as you'll have noticed if you've been paying attention. On Med/Sci for instance, you find logs created by people on Med/Sci, Engineering, Ops, Command & the Rickenbacker. However, this is an email, and years of real life experience have led us to believe that the header on an email indicates its place of origin (viz email phishing scams). If the email header says “Engineering”, it must have originated on the Engineering Deck. After all, Polito's emails were headed Ops, and that's where you found her ... oops.
Secondly, the phrase “Cargo Bay A”. At this point, the only cargo bays the player has encountered were on Engineering. The decal in front of the door you can't enter at this stage says “Shuttle Control”. There's a bracket at the side of the empty block on your map indicating Cargo Bays, but this is surprisingly easy to miss if you're listening out for bushwhacking enemies every time you open your map or inventory, and/or are relying on the minimap. Plus you're right at the bulkhead to Command B when you get the message and the tendency is to go through that first. Whereupon you get sidetracked by the continuing Tommy/Rebecca saga.
Thirdly, the sequence of objectives. You can't enter the shuttle bays yet - it's not an objective at that point - so it lacks the immediacy of Delacroix's email. Before you can even think of getting in there, you have to go up to the Bridge to get the Ops override card (sounds so simple, doesn't it), go down to Ops to fiddle about, then go down to Engineering to fiddle about. It makes sense, if you're going to the Engineering deck anyway, to check out the cargo bays while you're there. Unless you're too nervous (understandable).
Confusion only increases when you eventually do get into the shuttle bays. There's one wall decal on the way up that refers to the “Upper Cargo Bays”, but this is easy to miss as you're kept quite busy from that point on. If you mouse over this part of the map it says “Shuttle Bays”. When you finally enter one of the cargo bays, all the wall decals inside say “Shuttle Bay 1” or “Shuttle Bay 2”. The cargo boxes are the real giveaway. Delacroix is the only source in the game for the fact that a “Cargo Bay A” exists. Presumably the other one is “B” but there's no way you'd know it. It would have made a damn sight more sense to call them “3” and “4” if they wanted to avoid confusion. Sack the TriOp executive in charge of shipboard nomenclature. When you're in the shuttle bays proper, your map even indicates you're in shuttle control (inset upper)!
If you're as unobservant as me, you will already have found Delacroix before you finally notice the “Cargo Bays” flag on the map. Despite the fact it's in the left centre of the bloody thing. :p
The moral of this story - read the flaming map. Although if (like me) it's takes you six decks to learn that lesson, you'll be disappointed to learn it won't do you much good after Command.
