Eventually they will, yeah, but not yet. I have to work out a compression scheme that will play back in game.
For the moment this is just to be looked at in some video player and commented on (probably should make that clear somewhere).

Ok, so it´s not my systems fault :)
As for comments: The video is pretty cool, I don´t think there are any "flaws" left, at least I didn´t find any - it´s better than the old one from the first frame to the last.
By the way, did you use the original audio track from the old video, or did you alter it in any way that changed length or timing? Would it be possible to create a german version of the video by just exchanging the audio track?

Hmm, looks pretty cool. Although I notice it's Arcaniac's model which makes me wonder about its origins.

Ok, I should have said the textures were by me, and the model came from Arcaniac's True Graphics Redux pack.
Oops.

I do agree about the model, so may I suggest using my player model?
I´d rather prefer to stick to graphics that "improve" upon the look of the old game without "changing" it - and this skin basically removes the characteristic goggles of the player character.
@Muzman: Since I´ve seen lots of fan projekts that are abandoned or left half-finished, I´d recommend to decide on the priority of all tasks at hand, and then care for them in that order (sorry, bad english). Keep in mind that you might not have the time or motivation to finish everything you´d like to do now. I think the current video is very good, and doesn´t really need any more fine-tuning for now - instead I´d recommend to focus on finding a way to play the video in-game. Once that is done, your projekt has produced the first thing that is really finished and can be used by all players.

The new video looks great!
SS2 will play it without a problem if you have (
http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/) FFDShow installed and allowed to run with Shock2.exe. (Otherwise, it will crash, for me at least.)

I can´t recall the titles, but isn´t FFDShow something that is likely to cause problems with various games? I guess codecs and filters are always a bit "dangerous", so a solution that uses the games native player (or gives it another) would be, imho, preferable. This would also make installation easier.
