SS1 + SS2 : 32 bit Colordepth ? - by Skua S.

It would depend on the colours you used, but in general, not necessarily. I assume your computer is running at 32-bit mode, go to the desktop and change it down to 16-bit. Not a whole lot of difference, is there?

32-bit color is a misnomer anways. 8-bits are used to store a value for between 0 & 255 for reach of Red, Green, & Blue. The remaining 8-bits are used to store a level of opaqueness, which I do not believe either game's code supports.

Right, the Difference starts to show up in 8 bit °smiles confusingly°
(Bummer me, this was written before CR'S Post, im getting old...)

With transparent TGA textures we already have 32bit assets then.

Except, when they get rendered they're only 16-bit.
So how do you say, "Dude, stop being such an effeminate freak" in German?

Its "Kerl, hör auf, so eine weibische Monströsität zu sein."
TF on 19/9/2006 at 16:39

That was a literal translation. No one would ever say that. "freak" is well understood in Germany btw. But this is more likely to be heard:
"Alter, hör auf rumzuschwuchteln!"
Means "Dude, stop fagging around!". So it's rather offensive, especially vs. gays.
