This is my first run through SS1 and I now reached a spot where I cant continue. Well, I could without any problems but this closed door drives my insane.
Im on Level R right in the radiation treatment area currently looking through that force door at that shiny little surgery machine. Security on this level is down to 0% .. and that fuggin door is still closed! This is insulting my intelligence I demand justice! Open. that. door! ;)
I scanned through all the hint pages but couldnt find any reference to this door being a problem to anyone. So guys please enlighten me - how do I reach this surgery machine?

As I recall, there's a button right next to the door which opens it.

There's a panel opposite it with a wire puzzle that should open the door. It's a tad concealed due to other stuff on the wall.

That was it. Thank you very much. Now I happily moved on and destroyed the laser. I only hope that stuff like the hidden isotope-button or this hidden forcedoor-puzzle wont appear to often.

Oh my word, it's the exact issue I was having about 6 months ago when I ran through System Shock. I couldn't find the switch for access to the Level R healing bed anywhere. I must have ran around the level like 3 times. When I saw it on the wall just behind the door I rolled on the floor laughing.
The worst part is I have gone through the game at least ten times now and to forget something that I knew all 9 times before this is embarassing.
