Yes, Yes I know, I can spend hours searching for every thread with every model made thus far. I have much mapping and stuff to do, so I will make this simple: Can I get a list of some (or, all) of the models that people have made for SS1 recreation, so that I can experiment with converting them for use in Source? Since my project has me doing everything else on my own, I might as well see if I can get models to work with. Anyone willing to help a fellow SS1 recreation mapper out? Much appreciated!

You're not being a loser for wanting to use someone else's work. It'd be redundant and foolish to do a bunch of work making models that alread exist (so long as you're satisfied with the quality and style) if they can be converted. Just make sure you figure out what you need and ask the creator if its ok....no harm done. Asking for everything all at once is a bit much though and probably uneccesary.
If you have a particular model in mind you can just mention it here and somebody will likely tell you if it's done and who did it

I wouldn't bother asking for permission. If someone has a problem they can ask to have it removed if they feel so snotty about it.
