On the subject of what's supposed to get done where, this is what René had to say about the matter in the equivalent Thief thread (though still limited to DX3):

The only way it's going to end well:
-Eidos Montreal makes the concepts
-Eidos Montreal writes the scripts
-Eidos Montreal acts as the artistic directors
-Eidos Montreal directs the cinematics
-Eidos Montreal acts as the audio department
-Square produces the animation itself
Actually, that's
exactly what
is happening!

Shitty post, mel.
I am trying to say that it will be a shitty game 100%. It was irony FYI.
because it will be the same as buying Miles Davis CD with no Miles Davis playing, you know what I mean?
People create good games, not studio names or stakeholders (and I mean not only Spector and Witchboy - but the whole team of DX1)
So those movies will be some flashy lipstick on a pig. Casue Square Enix' movies are OK for teenagers, not for games as DX
Only if they hired someone like Mamoru Oshii or Tsutomu Nihei to work on the cutscenes - thet would count as serious stuff
DX3 will make money though. Im sure of it if the game ever comes out. And DX1 made next to no money compared with Tomb Raider so...
(OH MY GOD I MADE SUCH A TYPO - "cuntscenes" - fixd already, but hell it describes my opinion!=))))

Even shittier post, mel. 100%.
To be pedantic, that's not really a definitive dismissal of possible PC exclusivity, as the article's author also notes. Though, of course, it is absolutely certain that the title won't be a PC exclusive, that was a given since development was first announced.
