So, then, TTLG.
TTLG. This is the height of your nuanced criticism, eh? 'I can't break a chair.' 'This coffee cup doesn't explode into a million squillion pieces tinkling in orgiastic symphony against the carpet when I shoot it.' Ergo it's not DX.
FASCINATING outlook. Never mind that it was a nearly useless feature that was put to exactly one great use, which was Doug the F-15 Dragon's suggestions on how to decorate Manderley's office. Never mind that living, breathing AI remains a fundamental scientific problem, let alone a game systems issue. Let's all pile up our random tid bits of hate and justify them with 'OH GAMING SUCKS TODAY IT'S ALL CONSOLISED!' instead of giving the topic a complete, thorough, nuanced and rational breakdown. For all the valid criticism in here, it's lost in the noise of your pathetically ill-aimed disdain.
Oh, TTLG.

It's not about beeing able to break chairs - it's about making a fps in 2011, which doesn't feature much more than Resident Evil 1 render backgrounds. If that fulfills your expectations for a DX game - OK, I can accept that.

If it's with that sort of ridiculous hyperbole that your arguments are normally made, there's nothing more to discuss. It is 2011, and Deus Ex HR has exactly the number of interactive props that it needs. If pointless frobables are one of the primary requisites in your vision of the future of game development, I'm glad you're not the one making the decisions.

.... makes the whole HR world feel very sterile.
Just finished the first mission, and judging by it the world feels quite sterile and artificial indeed :(
I just can't get myself immersed for now, similar feeling I had when tried DX1.

No, for my taste it has not enough interactive props.
And btw you are are hardly in the position to tell me, when there is nothing more to discuss. I will post my views as long as I want to.

He wasn't telling you to stop posting, you bellicose dimwit, he was just saying that he doesn't see a reason to argue the point with you any further. And he's right. You're gonna have a blast in ThiefGen.

bellicose dimwit? Ok, I..., I can do that, uhmmm... wait - here you go: Oh, thx for your felicitous (but yet not very suave) teachings mista. I'm glad the European Union sent some english dictionaries to the "great" republic of romania. I always had sympathy for the lesser propertied nations. Keep up the good work, someday you will have the education to escape that verminous orphanage of yours.

Damn. Looks like I owe ThiefGen an apology, lumping you in with them and all.

What Ostriig said. Good lord you're dense.

And no one's stopping you, either. Even if it's completely witless complaining for the sake of it with little, if any, underlying substance, no one's gonna stop you. Hell, we'll even encourage you because we haven't had as good a laugh in a while.

I find myself having to use the phrase "stop bickering" again
So do it!
