PS: did noone guess the whole megan-dna-jensen-not-dead thing from the VERY FIRST SCENE on in the tutorial levels ???? they practically rub it in your face numerous times during the game.
Yep. Specifically the DNA thing, I don't know why Adam seemed so shocked and confused and betrayed at the end that they "stole" his DNA. For one, it's DNA, not a fucking stereo, it's not like he lost anything. For two, from the very first thing you read in the tutorials concerning "PATIENT X" you realize it's about Adam, given that Reed expresses hesitation in messing with someone she cares about (oh man so much betrayal, analyzing that DNA), and you know... the AJ INITIALS on the damn thing.
But true to the original Deus Ex, Adam remained blissfully unaware of everything read until someone said it to his face. :p

Come to think of it...I really didn't like the, literally, deus ex machina "choose your own ending" buttons either. I mean come on! It's 2011! Did they even hear of Mass Effect? There's your paragon for choice and open-endedness in a game. It should be, "No you can't have x ending, because you were a penis the entire game and you killed the people in y faction, etc." Not "presses the buttonz pleas! LOLZ!" What's wrong with being forced to live with your decisions?
Mass Effect 2 handled this perfectly. I had to deal with 33 hours of pricks, because I rightfully let the council die on my first play-thru. It was fucking awesome. I loved every minute of getting my past decisions shoved right back in my face. And yeah it was a little contrived at times, but it was also nearly perfect too.
I liked this game. I would've loved it if it were just called Adam Jensen's Monkey Shit Fest. But the fact that it has Deus Ex in the title means that it has a lot more to live up to in my book. It kind of feels like Bioshock...Never able to attain the former glory of its predecessor.

d) Picking up more than one type of the same gun ain't possible ( If you pick up a gun you already have ie a 10mm pistol, you only get some ammo for that gun into your inventory. the gun disappears out of the world = big bs)
Exactly like the original game, then.

I've noticed many criticisms being thrown around that could equally apply to the 1st game.
"Oh, why do I have to kill all the bosses. What If I want to leave them alive - bitch, moan"
tell it to Navarre and Hermann
(Once I did manage to leave Hermann alive, but only because he got stuck on some scenery)

As far as I remembered: In the original game, enemies did not drop their guns. If you tried to pick up ie a second crowbar, it was not possible cause the game dispalyed a message telling you the maximum allowed count for this item is 1 - the item itsself remained in the world.
*edit* You are right. I maybe overlooked that cause the npcs didnt drop guns, so the disappearances happened not that often... must have confused sth with another game. Though I still wonder, if that can't be done better after 10 years since the first release...

Yeah, but a crowbar doesn't have ammo. For weapons with ammo, you'd take the ammo and the gun would vanish.

Played it, I stand corrected.

I would rather say: apart from the bosses having MMO healthbars -
why is it everytime a cutscene starts I know Jensen is going to do something stupid and afterwards stand around smirking and posing while somebody bleeds to death because the game demanded it and at the end of the game he prides himself with being restrained and using his powers with care. WHAT A DOUCHEBAG
