Regarding endings not showing up:
After overriding the lockdown on Panchea you'll eventually receive distress calls from Bill Taggart and David Sarif. I think you not only have to locate where they've holed up and barricaded themselves but also engage them in dialogue. I'm guessing that if you don't do this, the ending corresponding with their agenda will not be available. I think the options offered by Darrow, Sarif, Taggart, and Cassan (swim with the fishies) are the only four endings possible.

4 endings with 3 variations based on how you played (so technically 12 endings, but not really).

Finally figured out what I'd missed (thanks dethy!); I forgot all about Taggart. No worries - I'll just go back and find him and that should give me the fourth ending option. Thanks.
One thing I for which I was very glad was that there was a Limbs clinic at the end. I was afraid the game was going to be like Stalker's SoC where you reach Pripyat with lots of rubles, but no place to spend them. There were still a couple more tweaks I wanted for my augs by the time I reached Panchea, so the Limbs clinic was a welcome sight.
EDIT: I did it! I finally finished the game, got all 4 endings plus the Deus Ex Machina achievement. I'm thinking I'll start all over again & this time try for more achievements that I missed the first time around. More fun than I thought I'd be having, without a doubt! :thumb:
Bring on Missing Link; I'm ready!

I can only speak for myself - I don't find the 3PP cover system immersion-breaking, but it gives me more information about my surroundings than I feel I really ought to have.
Takedowns I have more of a problem with. They take me out of the game for several seconds, show me a scene in which Adam and the bad guy aren't even necessariliy in the same spots than before hitting the button, with the camera twirling all around, then drop me back in. Sometimes it's disorienting, and when I only have a small window of time in which to drag/hide the body, it can mess me up.
but this is a DOOS EX game

I was wondering myself what to do with all the money - but I also didn't want to risk any incident with evil LIMB upgrades and told that woman 'No' *). I was honestly with the impression there would be more after finishing Panchea.
*) I wouldn't have had any need for upgrades anyway - I believe in the end I went pushing video buttons with 3 more upgrades available.
On another note: For one I'm happy with owning the augmented edition for the OST - first the Sarif theme was my favorite since their marketing homepage. But during the game the music of "The Hive" was incredible and hit the mood perfectly, with all the filtering and sequencing during sneaky sneaky stuff.
And that one isn't included on the disc :p .
If anyone is like me, check out this mix one youtuber did by using the extracted bits: (

I think I've mentioned this before, but in regards to the third-person cover. I honestly never used it after trying it out early on. Not because I was imposing a restriction on myself, but because I was doing a much better job dealing with the AI when I didn't switch the camera. I am really, really glad that Eidos Montreal made crouching and pressing against cover as effective as snapping to it rather than the way gearbox did it in BIA:Hell's Highway - in that game you were impervious to fire if you were snapped to cover but if you crouched and pressed against it you could be shot by unseen enemies.

The music in the game is one thing I have little to no complaint with; it was all well composed and appropriately moody.
Tracks that stand out for me are: the Derelict Row theme (the "stress" version with guitar riff), The Hive music, TYM penthouse, and... more, but those are ones I can think of.
I was going to buy the Aug edition with the soundtrack disc, but figured that Youtube would mostly come to the rescue. Seems I wan't wrong; the OST disc appears to be lacking.

I
loved that track; thanks for sharing, Ostriig (was going to search for it myself after I finished HR once more). The details in the apartment created an ambience that was absolutely heartbreaking and the music made it even more so. The first time I entered the apartment I remember taking my hands off the keyboard & mouse & just sitting there listening to the music while looking at the sympathy cards still lying on his dresser. The devs did an excellent job conveying the grief and trauma the character still felt (after all - it was only 6 months after the incident) and the music was the icing on the cake.
