Yeah I agree about remembering being Nerevar depends on how you view your character. I will say this though, If I was Nerevar and thousands of years later Azura brought me back to life as anything but a Dunmer there is no way I would be helping her out.
Also I think we can trust Yagrum because
how else would he know how to fix wraithguard for you and read Dwemer if he wasnt one
.

Forsythe, My mistake. Most westerly shack in Dagon Fel is occupied by one female Nord named Greidil 1/2 Troll.
Rationalizations:
1.) It was late.
2.) I was tired.
3.) The dog ate my map.
Factses:
I are a f'g idiot & on my way out of town an Imperial gaurd gave me a citation for Driver Inattention/Distraction.
Trolls? What trolls?
BTW, as facially pretty as she may be, Ms. 1/2 Troll is a messy housekeeper. I think she may be Caius Cosades' on-the-road-in-Dagon-Fel lady friend, tho at least she was wearing a shirt. She just struck me as his kind of chick, attitude & all.

One of the Hlaalu councellors has the last name of Half-Troll. I doubt very much that either of them are actually half (or even slightly) made of the Troll race. It's more likley that the last name is a translation from the Nord language (The Hlaalu guy is also a Nord) similar to the 'Skink-Sits-on-Rock-In-Sun' type names of some of the Argonians.

Striker, TY for the info. I'm only a couple hundred hrs into the game & haven't yet seen or spoken to or encountered anything or anyone Hlaalu related. Have looked at their doors but not yet dropped in & introduced myself.

Btw, just did a search for 'troll'... aside from the two NPCs mentioned above, and some trollbone eq, all I found was one book (Notes on Racial Phylogeny). It says some interesting things though; here's some snippets:
Quote:
After much analysis of living specimens, the Council long ago determined that all "races" of elves and humans may mate with each other and bear fertile offspring.
<snip>
The reproductive biology of orcs is at present not well understood, and the same is true of goblins, trolls, harpies, dreugh, tsaesci, imga, various daedra and many others. Certainly, there have been cases of intercourse between these "races," generally in the nature of rape or magickal seduction, but there have been no documented cases of pregnancy. Still the interfertility of these creatures and the civilized hominids has yet to be empirically established or refuted, likely due to the deep cultural differences.
From this, I'd guess Yngling & Greidil's surnames are more reputation-based than genetically grounded.
Edit: Looks like I'm late; that's what I get for doing excessive amounts of research before posting ;)

Yeah, that'll learn ya ;)
Never-the-less, that book sounds interesting. I'll have to find a copy and read it sometime.
I wonder if there are any mixed blood races in Morrowind and how you can tell? (The most famous case of this would be in 'The Real Barenziah', assuming it's accuracy)

I'd like to know where in/on Morrowind Almalexia and Sotha Sil are. I mean is it possible for me to travel around to them in the game? 'cause after reading those three pages in Vivec's temple, I'm really angry and feel like killing some "gods" Personally I dont like how any of them acted. And I astoutly beleive that they murdered Neravarine. Oh, and Vivec has some Deadra stuff in him, I think it was like lust, sex and uh... stuff. I can't really remember, and I have to wake up in five hours too so I'm not really at full strength. :p And I was also wondering if anyone would like to create the rest of Tamriel, as in Everything beyond the Innersea. That would be cool. Even if it was just the shoreline. Being able to goto like Cryodil city and kill those fake dopplegangers and then maybe steal all of Uriel Septim's Riches would be fun fun fun! :D And if anyone ever finds out that I've become Mentally ill... (Not saying that I am)
I'd like to be killed. I don't wanna end up like a mindless drooling creature that has absolutely no reason to exist. I am completely serious about this. mmmm y'know what, I think I should goto bed now.

So did I that's why i asked near the top end of this page and why Forsythe and Striker told me near the middle of this page.
In regards to your hatred of the 'false gods' i agree totally; when i can i will take great pleasure in nailing that little oath breaker Vivec and his 'best mate' Dagoth Ur. I'd also like to kill Sotha Sil and perhaps Almalexia... she is suppose to be 'your' wife after all.

Yeah read something like that but I think it suggested melpha was vivec's opposite and represents his 'dark side' although I think that's a load of bull considering melpha has been around for much longer than vivec has.

I'll keep that in mind...

Almalexia lives in the city named after her which is also called Mournhold and is the capital of Morrowind.
Sotha Sil reportedly lives in his clock work city of brass that also bears his name. It is unknown where in Morrowind this city is located or that it even exists at all.
Slith on 28/7/2002 at 07:00
Where IS mournhold? I did a quick glance over the map I've got, and I see no trace of it... Is the city actually in the game? I did notice a Dunmer stronghold right beside Falasmaryon (another stronghold) that had no name... could this be it? And there are undoubtadly dozens of unmarked Dwemer ruins, likely what Sotha Sil's 'brass' city is...
