There is a forum thread on the GSC forums where somebody has translated all the jokes that the stalkers tell to each other... Some are good, some are bad. ;)

Nope, they just tell anectodes (quite a few) about zone, stalkers, bandits etc. Some are really funny, some are kind of dumb.
