One thing which I've noticed often in the Thief FMs forum is that a lot of people inappropriately use the
tag (spoiler block) instead of the tag (inline spoiler), which is generally more appropriate in most cases.
While I just type the tags manually, I suspect that a lot of people just use the spoiler button, so would it be possible to change the spoiler button to use the more universally useful tag instead of the unreadable formatting nightmare that is the
tag?

Yes, I agree!

Yes, but can it be changed as NV suggested? I've wondered this as well.

you mean this:
Blah blahBlah blahBlah blahBlah blahBlah blahBlah blahBlah blahBlah
instead of this:
Blah blahBlah blahBlah blahBlah blahBlah blahBlah blahBlah blahBlah
:o Don't believe I've known about that. I'll have to try and remember to use spoil instead.

Well I can't remember who it was or when but I know it was some years before I found out about rather than
but after I did find out I tried to mix and match a bit but it is easier to click the s than not. So, in the interests of saving space I'd prefer to have the s as - quicker then to add 'er' when appropriate rather than delete it I think. Just my two penn'orth.

Why not remove one or the other (the least favorite) and have the tags and
do the same task, the most favorite (to save confusion)?

I think that would be the better option for the toolbar button. It is more versatile and doesn't use so much extra space.

Okay, the button has been changed (provisionally) to the more compact: [spoil] tag
When I originally created the tags, the longer one was made the default because it was new, and it helped indicate what this big blue block-o-text was.
Personally, now that I think about it... it makes sense now to have the shorter version be the button, but I'm going to create a poll and let the masses weigh in on the subject. This is why I say the change is provisional, mmkay? :cheeky:

If someone had asked me before this, I wouldn't be able to tell if TTLG used the short or the longer version...
