Yeah, of course no killing and minimal KOs, like we're doing in the Ghost Challenge. We should try writing it and posting it on GameFAQs, because the guy that wrote the "stealth" walkthrough is a moron.

He means "no alarms / no non-scripted detection" I guess. Whatever.
Since you came up with the idea, I think you should start writing it, and send the completed parts to me, and I'll see if I can add, comment, or maybe correct anything, hm?

Okay, will do. The first part will be easy, the Georgian levels. I'll email you that part sometime this week then, hopefully.

Sure! And welcome! Feel free to start right away. You can find the stats in this topic somewhere if you want to compare it to yours - since I've gone through SC and SCPT, my stats are quite complete (though improvements may be possible in some places). If you have any comments or questions, just post them here.
(looks like I also have a talent for telling the obvious :)).

Welcome, Fig455. Just read the whole thread from the beginning. You'll also find several pointers (I guess walkthrough material :))!

I've finally got down to finishing ghosting SC1. Went past the minefield, which was a pain, and then the roof, which was also a pain, until I figured out the way across it. Now I went into the shaft and up a beam and now I need to drop down from the ceiling but there are three guards there below the openning, and they're not going away. Malleus, how did you sneak past these guys?

You might have figured out that all you have to do is make them go away. It took me hell lot of time, but I managed to find out what to do. One word: frag grenade (okay, two words :D). Stand roughly above the guards, and throw the grenade back where you came from, as far as possible. Ideally it explodes almost at the end of the corridor (above the ceiling of course), and the guards will become suspicious and start walking towards it. Hopefully all of them. After that, you just jump down and proceed.
Note: It only works with the frag grenade. I've tried every possible way to distract them, but at least one of them always remained at his post (making it impossible to jump down without being detected), or started walking towards the freezing chambers (same problem). The grenade made all of them walk to the other end of the corridor. I managed to do this twice from two tries (had to reload once), so it's supposed to work.

Yeah I figured some distraction was in order, but couldn't figure out what to do. It also pissed me off one of them says "Let's go!" but they don't go anywhere!
